Parties

We love to add a touch of sophistication and glamour to any party, Parties have ranged from a large wedding party in a conference centre to a more intimate 40^th birthday celebration in someone’s home or a Christmas party in a restaurant. Our extensive repertoire list varies hugely in style and suits all types of parties, from our pop, disco and electro arrangements for a 40^th birthday party to a jazz / American songbook set at a 1930s tea dance garden party for a 50^th wedding anniversary. We are flexible to work around speeches and other acts that may also be appearing. We would usually collaborate with the sound engineer regarding amplification for larger parties. For smaller parties, the acoustic setup is usually suitable. We can also include a short performance if you would like something more formal. We regularly receive lovely comments about how nice it is to hear live background music at a party, especially on arrival along with a glass of bubbly! We even take requests. If we have it – great! If we don’t and we know it, we’ll play it!
